I'm currently trying to hammer out some sort of schedule. I don't want to bog folks down with more than one blog a day, but I also don't want to bog myself down under the weight of a self-appointed thematic yoke.
I've already diversified within the theme.
We have obscure super team Sunday and Super Villian Monday. I'm trying to generate a different Neo-Retro-Crash theme on a daily basis. It was never my intent to make this all superhero all the time. I have tantalizing diverse interests.
It should be cool for me to write about guilty pleasures or my love for bands old and new or to get all swoony over Jan Smithers. I'm trying to diversify.
So here's the initial schedule. (If I don't have a schedule, I will not focus)
Obscure super team Sunday
Super Villian Monday
Superhero Tuesday
Grab bag Wednesday
TV retro-crash Thursday
Film Fan Friday
Saturday Jukebox
I know this seems very service announcey, and I don't want to bum anyone out. Things may take a turn for the strange, but it will be okay. Most people think that you need to know where your towel is in order to be secure in the Universe.
I've always believed that it's best not to think about it. The keys to survival are pretty easy, you already know those answers, but as long as I'm being listy today, here are a few tips
1-nod and smile
2-anger turned inward is depression, anger unchecked is a jail sentence
3-music can make you happy
4-the love you take is equal to the love you make
5-the Universe provides
6-the Universe may not provide what you want, but rather what you need.
7-regardless of outward appearances, nobody is cooler than Dr. Johnny Fever
8-sometimes, you should listen, rather than waiting to talk.
9-nobody can be 100% sure about any thing that's a "belief"
10-ain't nothin' conceptually funnier than a Monkey, A Pie Plate, and A Loaded Gun
These, of course, are beliefs, so I'm not 100% sure. What else is new?
This is just more stuff based on my worthless opinion.
Grab Bag Wednesdays remind me of Cracker Jacks back when the prizes were good and worth anticipating!
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to hearing more about this cosmic candy you speak of... Metallic pop rocks?
